Super TCF reporter gene has been used to detect activation of the WNT/beta-catenin pathway. This product is a cell line stably transfected with a Super TCF (STCF) reporter gene plasmid containing five copies of the TCF response element (agatcaaaggggg) upstream of the firefly luciferase gene. The plasmid carries a hygromycine resistance gene.

Biological Activity:
The activation of the STCF reporter gene by WNT-3a (StemRD cat # M3a-H or M3a-M) or GSK-3beta inhibitors (StemRD cat # BIO or CHIR99021) can reach to approximay 40- to 100-fold after 8 to 16hr of treatment in DMEM medium with 0.1% BSA or FBS.
